What is ainGide (and how is it pronounced)?

It's pronounced ain as in rain, Gide as in guide. With that out of the way...

ainGide.com started out as an experiment in brand-building. I took the name from an obscure video game years and years ago and have been using it for over a decade in various forums, chat rooms, games, etc. After thinking about how a brand can grow organically online I wanted to see how I could leverage years of online presence into creating my own identity. I've been planting work at Newgrounds, YouTube, CafePress, CGSociety, and many other outlets in an attempt to drive traffic to this site.

So far it's been much more successful than I anticipated. The CafePress store, in particular, has brought in a lot of visitors.
